WOSPED Name change - thoughts?

Hi everyone (or Kia ora as they say here in NZ),

I just thought I'd let you all know that the name "WOSPED" for the
personnel directory, has always been a little clumsy on the toungue,
and strange. So, I would like to put forward the name "Petrel" for
the Directory system we are creating for seabirds.net. This Acronym
(and overall "cool" name) would stand for the Personnel Tracker and E-
List (Thanks to Scott H for that one).

The directory would act as several things:
1) A basic database with the names of various seabird professionals,
who are given a username and password which would allow them to modify
user profiles that were searchable (by students, or other
professionals).
2) A basis for a Data-accreditation system wherein PETREL users who
have input data into the databases that will be accessible through
seabirds.net, will receive some form of credit for their data (perhaps
through a counter : i.e. how many downloads they have had, or some
other metric)
3) An easy to use system that would encourage and facilitate global
collaborative efforts

I think PETREL is a great name for this system, but if anyone has any
comments against (or for) it, we would all love to hear them
