Hi all,

Further update from the ship, I will only now post new species for the
voyage here from now on, a more detailed report can be found on our
website.

5 April At sea towards Norfolk Island
Tahiti Petrel 1
White-chinned Petrel 1
Wilson's Storm-Petrel 4
Red-tailed Tropicbird 4
White Tern

6 April Norfolk Island
Black and Brown Noodies
Sooty Tern
The three land endemics seen again, Norfolk Gerygone, Slender-billed
White-eye and Norfolk I Parakeet plus other stuff

Bottle-nose Dolphins bow-riding

7 April At sea towards Noumea
Polynesian Storm-Petrel 1
Found by Bob Flood, seen well by all. This bird was earlier than any
last year and if accepted will be a first for Australia!
Collared Petrel c5
At least two in Australian waters, the first records were last year.
Gould's Petrel 5
Short-tailed Shearwaters
Masked Booby
