The latest on Murfreesboro's radioactive dump:
http://www.murfreesboropost.com/news.php?viewStory=4609Appears decisions have to be made at the State level. So, even more imperative that you call the politicians.
Also, an online petition:

All,In case you have not caught this news, apparently low-level radioactive materials have been dumped at
Walter Hill
(this link is to Google Map's to Walter Hill Elementary School. If you
zoom in, you can see the Middle Point area to the lower right of the
map) for over two decades apparently. This might be affecting
Murfreesboro's drinking water.
"In
addition, he has asked EPA officials to ensure the safety of the city's
water intake system, which is located a few hundred yards downstream of
Middle Point."

"Lamar,
We
at the Jones Residence (Jim, Cindy, Boyd, Jacqueline and Suzy) are
outraged that low-level radiation has been dumped at Walter Hill for
decades -- and that this is probably affecting Murfreesboro's drinking
water! Please follow the lead of Bart Gordon and get to the bottom of
this.
