SWAT-CUP 5.1.6.2 simulations running slow on a new powerful laptop

Hi, I am using SWAT-CUP 5.1.6.2 Free Version on my Ryzen 7 8840HS 16GB DDR5 RAM laptop. 

Ryzen 7 8840HS is a fairly powerful laptop processor having 8 cores and 16 threads. 

However, the simulations are running quite slowly. By slow, I mean it is not running any significantly faster than my very old Intel Core-i5 3rd Generation laptop. The program is not using much CPU power as well. The CPU utilization is only around 20% and RAM usage is less than 50% that indicates that the program is not utilizing the potential power of the laptop.

Is there any way to speed up the process?
