Hey All!

I hope you're all doing well! =)

I was wondering if you guys can help me. I have officially obtained Human Subjects approval to start my 2nd year research project (I'm doing an MA/PhD in Education at UCSB) and am now on the hunt for participants so I can start as soon as possible!

Here is some info on the research project:

This study will be examining the educational aspirations of second generation Laotian American college students and their parents.

I am seeking 12 second generation Laotian American college students whose families reside in the Orange County or Los Angeles County. I'd prefer for participants to be in the Orange County area, but I'm having some trouble finding 12 so I may expand it to LA. Students may be attending schools outside of Orange County so long as their parents and permanent residence are in OC. Parents will also asked to be interviewed after initial student consent.

Students will only be required to participate in a one-time hour-long interview. All participants will be compensated with a $5 gift card to Yogurtland.
