The SEARAC California office is now accepting applications for a intern for the Winter 2010-2011. The SEARAC internship program will enable interns to gain hands-on experience in: policy research and legislative advocacy in the areas of education, immigration and health, analytical writing, working in collaboration with other groups and organizations, and database management.  Interns will receive substantive work but is also expected to support SEARAC’s programs and operations and abide by the office policy and procedures.

To qualify for this internship, the applicant must: be able to write reports, research papers, and professional letters; have superior writing and communication skills;

have knowledge of and interest in the Southeast Asian American (SEA) community; and be able to commit a total of 320 hours over the duration of the internship (Schedule and start date are flexible).
