Hey Everyone,

Please help SEARAC out by filling out this survey and passing it along to your friends, family, and other folks in our community that live in California!  We want to get some diversity and oversample some of our smaller communities too, so please please if we can do a big push for Laotian and Khmer Americans, that would be greatly, greatly appreciated!

In Solidarity,
Monica

Dear Friends,

Some exciting news! SEARAC is undertaking a financial literacy assessment of Southeast Asian Americans in the state of California. Our goal is to understand how much community members know about banking, budgeting, saving, and other financial services. We are conducting this research in order to assist community based organizations, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to better serve the banking and financial needs of the Southeast Asian American community in California -- and YOU can help!

  • If you live in the state of California, please fill out the following online survey: http://tinyurl.com/SEARAC-Survey
  • If you do not live in California, please forward the link http://tinyurl.com/SEARAC-Survey to colleagues, family members, or friends who do. Post it on Facebook, tweet it, blog it -- we would like the survey to get as much circulation as possible!

Some things to keep in mind:

  • The survey is completely anonymous.
  • It only takes about 15 minutes to complete.
  • The survey will be closed at midnight on Sunday, Dec. 18th, so don't delay!
  • Fill it out by midnight on Dec. 16th, and be entered in our drawing to win a $25 Target gift card!

The importance of financial literacy and the ability to understand the banking and financial system is especially important during these tough economic times. Help us to better serve the Southeast Asian American community by participating in this important research.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at riam...@searac.org. Thank you in advance!

Sincerely,

Riamsalio Phetchareun
