Hello Everyone,
Sorry for the delay in a second deportation meeting. Betty and I have both moved back to San Jose after finishing school at Davis, and we hope that you are still interested in trying to help our community with deportation issues.
In 2002, a Repatriation Agreement was signed between the United States and Cambodia allowing for the deportation of Cambodian Americans. In 2008, a similar agreement was signed with Vietnam.

Deportation of Cambodians in America has continued to rise, and in recent months 50 Cambodian Americans in the United States have been sent notices ordering their immediate expulsion from the U.S.

Please join us on Saturday, October 30 at 1 PM at San Jose's Berryessa Library in Study Room C. We will have a short presentation about deportation followed by a training and brainstorm session on how to make change.

Please help us invite more people and bring your friends, parents, children, siblings and anyone else.

Thank you,
