Exceptional Agile Reconnect

Hello everyone! I'd like to apologize for my radio silence over the last few months.

That silence was only because I've been hard at work on exciting items supporting our initiative. I know others have been hard at work as well, so we're due for a touchpoint to share our successes!

In addition to sharing progress, we have two goal-setting tasks we can finalize to sharpen our focus:

1. In my last message to the working group, I shared a link to a draft of our charter. I invite everyone to take another look and send feedback (even if it's just "thumbs up!"):

2. Moving forward, a backlog will help us organize our work and collaborate. Everyone's input toward this will be extremely valuable. Please take a fresh look at our startup brainstorming ideas, and pick out a few items you think are most important for our working group to tackle first:

Please reply back to me directly; I'll collect everyone's ideas and send out a summary. Then we can schedule a meeting to discuss our successes and next steps.

I still wholeheartedly believe in the value of our initiative. I'm excited to reconnect and share progress!

There was a resounding consensus that we should begin with two high-level questions:

1. What does success look like for our working group?
2. What, exactly, do we mean by exceptional agile?

Both questions would benefit from a real-time conversation where we can build upon each other's ideas. The notes from this conversation will form the basis for a draft manifesto and a draft set of principles.
