This is the last week to sign up for the Northwest College Winter Workshop 2010 -

December 26 to 30 at Camp Don Bosco. It will be a 4-day Divine Principle Workshop taught by Patrick Nolan and sponsored by NextGen Academy.

Check out the preview video on Patrick Nolan:

Personally I'm always slightly apprehensive when I hear about a Divine Principle lecture, not to mention a four-day one, but trust me- I've heard Patrick Nolan Speak before, and I'm really excited for this year's workshop. He is an engaging, realistic, and hilarious speaker. He helped me understand how to apply the DP to my life in a way that actually matted; instead of spending hours on explaining theological theories, he shares stores about his own life experience and how the DP is simply what it is - a set of principles, that, when applied correctly, will help make our lives easier and more understandable.

At the Workshop you can expect not just DP lectures, but also plenty of activities, fun, and a place where you can just spend some time with your fellow BC's. It'll be a great opportunity for you to catch up with people you haven't seen in a long time, and also invest in refreshing your life of faith. We'll provide a place where you can also get deep - something we don't have a chance to do in everyday life.

Info on Patrick Nolan:

Patrick Nolan has given many lectures to second generation members on STF Europe during their workshops in Germany, as well as international first generation members in the ILTP program in the US and internationally.

On what he loves most, Patrick Nolan writes,

"My main joy, desire and passion is teaching.  I take great joy and pride in my ability to reach especially the hearts and minds of college-age young people and get them to see the DP as something a part of real life, rather than just something that sits on the board.  Working with and guiding college-age youth from their entering a life of faith all the way to starting their family is something that I know best and am very happy to be a part of any chance I get."

He is blessed to a Ukrainian sister, Katya Krasnoperova, and lives in New Jersey with her and his three kids: Kyle, 9; Shannon, 7; and Krista,  4.
