Hi everyone!
You've probably noticed our monthly newsletter has gone awol over the summer...we're working on getting it back and running for you soon, some of us just have to get a crash course in Mail Chimp and we'll be on our way again. So, to keep you up to date, I thought I'd send out a little message to keep you in the loop.
October is conference month! Get your tickets to Alberta's FIRST Secular conference, featuring Nathan Phelps, Ali A Rizvi, Rob Breakenridge, Shelley Segal and Matt Dillahunty! Tickets are on sale until October 11th, and if you have a current SEA membership you get a discount. Don't miss out, it's going to be fantastic!
We have a great speaker coming for our Roundtable event in October, we'll be hearing from Prof Glen Fairen from the U of A on what makes something religion vs magic/occult. This event had to be moved to the University as the library had an event that was using their entire facility. Join us on October 6th at the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy at the U of A. More details on our events page
It's also highway cleanup time again! We are booked the next two weekends for a few hours each morning. Try to join us if you can but remember to dress for the weather, it can be quite windy by the QEII
