Dear All,

A very timely event indeed at CAS and it will hopefully be  helpful for you
while we are also looking for joint corporate funding applications in the future.
I would appreciate if you could also comment on the attached document if you have thoughts about it.

CAS Members’ Day: The Changing Funding Climate

When: Wednesday 3rd July 2013: 9.30am - 1.30pm

Where: Thames Reach Employment Academy, 29 Peckham Road, London, SE5 8UA. [map]

Dear Bora,

We know that many voluntary and community sector organisations (VCS) are facing increasing pressure on already scarce resources. In a recent survey by CAS, two thirds of you told us that the biggest challenge you face is getting enough grant funding.

So we could not ignore such a strong message and that is why our next Members' Day on 3rd July is focusing on the Changing Funding Climate.

We want to support our members to find out more about what funding is available, who from and how to get it.

  • You will hear from a range of more traditional funders explaining who they fund and why and what they are looking for in applications, providing  you with plenty of hints and tips to take away.
  • In recognition that it is not all about grants, there will be a panel discussion that will look at newer forms of funding, to discuss where funding is heading, what you can do to stay ahead of the game and what are the alternatives.
  • Click here to find out who we have lined up so far. More to follow!!!

If you would like to attend please book a place here. There is no charge for attending the Members' Day and lunch will be provided.

You may also be interested in our forthcoming session on An Introduction to Commissioning and Procurement on Wednesday 5th June. Book here (it is free for members of CAS).

I hope that you will be able to join us and thank you for your continued support.
