Dear Camberwell Lovers; 

I could not write an appreciating paragraph about the warmth the Camberwell Free Film Festival brought to SE5 yet, the Camberwell Food and Drink Festival is on the stage,  The Burgess Park May Spring Fair is on its way and the Arts Festival is not far after that and we will be completing a year with the Cool Campaign in Camberwell soon. 

While I thank for all your interest for transforming Camberwell, it is now your turn to come to the stage.

As the life cycle requires, looking ahead, we will need new hands, new ideas, new people on board and executive committee.

We thought we would just drop by to let you know that planning for the forthcoming Camberwell Food & Drink Festival is well under way.   The Festival team are super excited and can't wait to welcome you to this year's event.   Come rain or shine, festival week kicks off on the 20th April with a fabulous Food Fair on Camberwell Green (9.00am - 4.00pm).  We have now closed our stall bookings and have over 30 stalls committed to attending.  We have gathered some of London’s finest and award winning street food vendors together with local restaurants and eateries who will be offering tasty bites to try and buy.   Come prepared to fill your basket with fresh-from-farm produce for your fridge or your skillet and go home loaded down with home-made goodies and treats. l And ...  should the sun care to show its face, then an impromptu picnic on the green with friends and family will become an absolute must.   During Festival Week We reached out to many of the restaurants, bars and eateries and they didn't disappoint.  During the week and beyond look out for the range of  irresistible special offers, money off vouchers and meal deals and fun events for you to enjoy.  Go to our website http:/www.camberwellfoodanddrinkfestival.co.uk to ensure you or your friends don't miss out. As a fellow Camberwell lover I feel there has been much work gone in transforming Camberwell due to numerous efforts. Its an amazing time to be involved in contributing towards this.

I'd like to put myself forward for continuing the efforts on the CIC- if I already haven't done before.

Also - We are running Changify Camberwell as part of the Camberwell Food Fair on 27th April. 

It focusses on food, wellbeing and local producers across Camberwell Green, Church Street and New Camberwell Road - we are covering grocers, restaurants, chemists, leisure centre, gardens, pubs and GP surgery.

Our neighbourhood Changify events are about inspiring, exploring and bringing people together across local business, community and brands to take action in making a change in their neighbourhood through community projects which get hatched/plotted at our Changify event. These then get backed and supported through our  mobile crowd-funding platform to create better neighbourhoods. 

You can see what we have been doing in Shoreditch for example.
