Good news, our novena is working! haha UGEC, the printer I contacted agreed to give the event pamphlet printing for freeeeee!! AND as a donation. See their reply below. wuhoo Merry Christmas! Free event pamphlets for everyone (and by everyone I mean 1000 people)! 

So... how do we go about this? Do we take it out of our budget na rin?

No reason din naman to keep the amount there ;)

BIBS

- we will have to do the design so that there won't be additional charge, and faster approval since design will come from us. 

- Is everyone ok to use same design as last year and just update sponsor logos, and add runrio and riovana logo? =)   

- 3 colors for the 3 race distances:

   3km (red) : 300pcs;  runrio's printer will assign bib#s 1-300

   5km (blue) : 450pcs; runrio's printer will assign bib#s 301-750

   10km (green) : 250pcs; runrio's printer willassign bib#s 751-1000

- Pls retain lower left portion of the bib for barcode printing (same as last yr)

- remove raffle stub, if no longer applicable

- Let's retain back design on Medical Info

- Let's add small text sa upper right to indicate the distance (as stated above)

Kat Lee Par, hope you can reco on who can help with the editing of the bib design? =)

 

POSTERS

- They are confirming if we can post actual posters in Riovana, as long as walang conflict in event daw.  I'll find out w/in the week.

- they can help repost our poster in the running/ blog sites they have contacts with =)  Can you email me hires soft copy of the final poster design?=)  sorry im sure its in the threads but just want to make sure I pick up the right one....

 

DISTRIBUTION OF RACE KITS

- they said that they are pulling out their booth already in Athlete's foot Alabang!  They can still help with race kit distribution, they can provide manpower help for this, at a fee -- Im confirming how much.  BUT, since they're pulling out their booth, we need daw to be the ones to coordinate with Athlete's foot.  They can just provide manpower lang talaga.

- Another option they mentioned though is to distribute race kits in Riovana BGC branch -- do you want to use their branch as a race kit distribution place, or do you want it centralized sa Athlete's foot alabang?  I'm double checking if the same manpower fee will apply. Let me know =)

 

That's it for now, will keep you posted, but hope you guys can give advise on who can work on the bib design revisions, and by when we can send to them for printing -- give it 3weeks leadtime in case may Xmas break sila =)  thanks!

Regarding the Bibs, I think it'll be better for us to use the same bib and just edit the sponsor logos .

For the race kit distribution, I think Kay told the person from Athlete's Foot that we will set a booth there by January for our race kit distribution, kasi at first sabi nila we can check daw the area where we can place our booth for registration then we told them na drop box lang muna tayo for registration then sa January na tayo maglalagay ng booth for the distribution, Tama ba Min/Kay? Pero if magkaproblem tayo w/ Athlete's foot we can consider having it in the RIOVANA branch in BGC.

Miel- pls include layered file of back design -- the emergency contact info, this is same as before.  Do you have this?=)  Pls just use white background (same as before).

 

 cc COMM HEADS, possible already to finalize logos you want to include in the bib? =)  We should send the soft copy files before Jan 2 so they can start printing on Jan 2 para umabot sa packing day natin =)  pls confirm so that Miel can do final edit, thanks!!

Hello all!

As per runrio, manpower rate for race kit distribution is P550/staff/ day, which is yun mall hours na. We just have to inform them of our kit dist'n sced and how many kailangan natin. I mentioned before wala na runrio booth sa atc athletes foot by Jan, so we have to coordinate ourselves, fyi.

Can someone deliver a poster to Runrio BGC, pwede daw tayo makipost sa bulletin=) pls look for anyone fr registration staff there and tell them we got permission fr dada teves. Or, i can get the poster fr u guys sa Jan4 mtng =) may venue na b?=) 

They will also be advertising our poster sa runrio website and other running blogsites --theyll send me the list, so we can monitor comments/questions=)

On registration, ROX is still offering for us to set up a manned booth (1 to 2 weeks) for registration to boost our # of runners. Other runs do the same at ROX and turnout is really good daw. Trixie, wondering if runrio can provide staff for this at probably the same P550/day rate. the control issue that i see here is their staff will receive money (reg fees).. isip ko lang if they do this for other events so maybe we can follow the same procedures.
