Hi there! My name is Robin and I’m a volunteer with a project called Occupy Trading Cards. Our goal is to gather best practices, tips, techniques, and strategies from Occupy movements all across the country and create trading cards of them. Each card will have an illustration on one side, and a tool or practice on the other. It’s a way to share what works for one location with other locations, as the cards are traded between sites.

 

I’m writing because we need submissions. Specifically, we need people willing to write them and artists willing to illustrate them. A person can opt to do a single card, or a variety of them. Right now we’d just like a list of names (artists & writers) and contact info for anyone who would be interested in helping out.

 

Eventually we plan on releasing sets of these cards grouped according to theme. People who submit a finished card will receive a free pack, and we hope to make the others affordable as we are not doing this with profit in mind- we just want the project to be successful.

 

So if you could, would you please ask around and see if there are any writers and artists out there who could help us?

Hey Ahjamu,

This is Cameron's other email. Thanks for stepping up to help me. I really need it. So as for networking, I just really need you to try to plug me into any community organizations of influential leaders you might come across. Most importantly, since you have some insurance experience, you could get me in contact with the Portland Physician Patient Cooperative. I have some business cards at my friends house, I will have to pick up so they can start being given out.

As for the writing part, basically take your freedom to write an article about me. Ask me whatever questions you like. Make it like 500 words, and it can go up on the website.
