Contributing to the project

Hi David and other contributors.
I'm interested in dedicating some of my time to contribute to an open source record playback tool.
I'd like to learn more about the current status of the project and the plans ahead.
Will it be possible for us to discuss, either here or over any other channel?

Hi Daniel,

The current status is basically that it works on old Firefox but doesn't work on Firefox Quantum.

Because Quantum uses a different add-on architecture, it needs to be ported over. Sauce Labs, who previously sponsored development on the project, has ceased supporting it, so right now, nothing is happening.

I currently don't have the time capacity to do the port. If you and/or others want to take on this work, I'm happy to give advice and pointers on how the add-on is structured.

We are working on a rewrite of Selenium IDE (free, open source, part of the Selenium project).
We are making a nice progress and aim to have the same capabilities.

I have a lot of free-time and I love writing code. I love this tool as well so I would like to contribute to it. If you can point me in the right direction so I can make SeBuilder work on Quantum I'd be glad to help. Thanks!
