                      The Time to Make a Change in Our Community Begins Today, & the Youth Shall Lead the Way

 

Who: The LINC Project & Bridging Communities, Inc 

What: The Healing of Detroit Youth Rally

When:  August 20, 2010, 4:00p-7:00p

Where: 6900 McGraw, 48210 

Why: The issues of drugs, violence, prostitution, abandoned homes, and police response times are making life HARD for the youth of Southwest Detroit.  The LINC (Linking Intergenerational Neighbors who Care) Project wants to highlight these issues & work with you to find solutions! Free food, LIVE music, & a good time don’t hurt either…     

How: A Rally designed and produced by young people, you will get stories from young people about their struggles to succeed; you will see dancers and steppers; you will get LIVE music; you will get FREE FOOD!!  Most of all, you will get hope that the youth of Detroit CAN make a positive difference in and for OUR community.  

 

 

LET’S SHOW THE WORLD THAT THE YOUTH OF DETROIT ARE READY TO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY.
