Jean Schenck date change and NOR now up

Hi everyone,

The NOR for the Jean Schenck is now up.  The regatta has changed weekends from 10/10-11 to 10/17-18.  They have also changed boats to Lehman 12s.  The regatta is limited to 8 teams and comes on a first come, first served basis.

It would be great for SDYC to send a team or more up there.  Please fill out the Google Spreadsheet.  Knowing whether you cannot make it is just about as important as whether you can make it.

Go ahead and form your own teams, don't wait to be assigned to one.  If you are interested in attending you need to fill out a Competition Fund request ASAP as well: http://www.sdyc.org/members/comp_fund

NHYC will supply the Lehman 12s.  Here is the regatta web site link:

Comp Fund will pay $150 per SDYC team to cover the Entry Fee.  However, you still need to submit a Comp Fund Application using the link provided earlier.

Attending this regatta is critical for our Team Race program.  It will help our chances of receiving an invitation to NHYC’s Baldwin Cup, NYYC’s Morgan Cup, and Southern YC’s Soiland Cup.
