Team Racing Practice August/September/October

We will have Team Racing Practices every Thursday at 5:30pm to 7:30pm for the next 6 weeks through the end of September. At that point we will figure out October.

There is Fleet racing every Wednesday at 5:00pm in La Playa. I encourage everyone to come and join us.

We have Soiland Cup up on the schedule next. This goes at Southern Yacht Club in New Orleans Oct 31 and Nov 1&2. We will be racing in Flying Scots (or Flying Sidewalks as Steve tells me is their nickname) Steve will work on getting us a tuning and handling guide for the Flying Scots.

I will work to get an online sign up system going for us to help figure our practices. With 12 people we are 3v3 and with 18 we are 3v3 with kites.

Mandi and I did the fleet racing last night. It was great fun. We will be there again next Wednesday. I hope to see more boats.

The Soiland Cup has not been floated with Comp Fund or Challenge and I'm not sure we have an invite.  There will likely be little funding for this outside of the entry fee so if 9 people are willing to pay their travel expenses I am happy to beg for an invite but I want names first.
