Dan - board member candidate

I enjoyed meeting Dan tonight, and wanted to see if there were any thoughts or inclinations regarding offering him board membership for the three month trial period (as we decided to do with Polly).  Linda, Shannon, and Bill, I know you were not present for the conversation, but you hopefully had a chance to review his resume.

Personally, I think he would be an asset as we move forward with a plan for a new location.  I also think he has a real grip on our mission of helping people and not just being a "dog" non-profit.  I believe he was truly touched at our graduation and could relay that to others in sharing SDV's story and mission.

(FYI all, I will not be checking email July 17-26 as I will be at sea).

I'm sorry I missed the meeting last night. I needed to stay with Luke because he had surgery last week. 

I am happy you decided to offer Polly a seat on the board. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Dan but I am very impressed with his resume. I trust all of your judgement, moving forward, if you are comfortable offering him a seat on the board.
