Hello Board, Peggy, Shannon, and Kyle!

Please help us welcome Helen Schoonover and Christy Maupin to the Service Dogs of Virginia Board of Directors! They will join us at the upcoming board meeting on Monday, October 14th.

This google group currently includes the following board and staff members: 
Messages sent to sdvb...@googlegroups.com from your subscribed email address will be sent to everyone in the group and will be posted to the online discussion forum for access by all current and future members. 

Helen & Christy, if you'd like an introduction to google groups (or google drive or google calendar), please let me know and I'll walk you though them.

Helen and Christie,

Minutes are posted on the google drive. It may take some time to get comfortable with this, I still  flounder and don’t go to the site with ease or regularity as I should. Habits are hard to form.  Good ones anyway.  I think, but I am not sure, if the results of our “retreat” are there as well. I think that would be a good document to review and good prep for the follow up retreat on October 2. Have you been made aware of the Oct 2 follow up?

Rachel, if the document from our retreat is not posted, can you please forward what you have to Helen and Christie?

I had not initially mentioned the Oct 2 follow up since we were just tying up loose ends. Helen had asked, and I told her she was welcome, but based on my explanation of it being tying up loose ends and not direct decision-making, she has decided not to come. Christy teaches during the day, so I didn't even mention it to her. 
I think it might be a little confusing for someone to come to the follow up, having missed the initial session, though both are welcome.
