Follow up to 7/22/13 Board & Staff Retreat

First of all I want to say thank you each of you for making today such a productive and enjoyable experience! I feel really good about the work we did today and how we're going to proceed from here. Special thanks to Jennifer for shepherding us through the process. We really couldn't have done it without you!

I'm sure we'll have lots of follow up info to share over the coming days and weeks.

For now, I just want to let you know that it appears that I won't be able to easily share the video clips I shot today. The file sizes are epic! Even keeping the files on my computer for more than a week or perhaps two seems unlikely. Speak up soon if you want to be able to refresh your memory on what we discussed today.

I should point out that I can burn copies of the video to an external hard drive if SDV has one handy to spare or would like me to look into purchasing one. I haven't yet calculated the size needed.

I don't feel the need to have a video recording, for my own use anyway. I feel that the products (documents) we will have will capture what we need moving forward.

I agree that I don't really feel like I *need* video, but if you do want to save the retreat for archival reasons, you can share video from your phone directly to YouTube, and it will be compressed into a YouTube friendly size.

You can make the settings on YouTube private for those videos, so it's only accessible to SDV Board and staff.
