What are the characteristics you think the SDV Board and its members should have at this point in SDV's evolution? Please share your ideas even if you're still developing them.  Knowing what each other are thinking will help us get clearer in our own heads.

confidence in the ED's management of day-to-day role as the "face" of SDV

commitment to follow-through with delegated or self-assigned tasks efficiently

knowledge of and comfort speaking about the mission of the organization publicly

recognition of each others' strengths and patience with others' personal characteristics that are not as strong in specific areas

commitment to a specific interval to read and respond on the Google group (such as weekly) to maintain regular communication
