My name is Katarzyna Balakier and I´m working at SENER Ingeniería y Sistemas, S.A – the engineering company which in 2003 has decided to create a Foundation, “Fundación SENER”.

I’m addressing to you regarding to this year recruitment process; an announcement may be found in attachment. Please, feel free to forward it to students and whom you consider it may concern.

One of the very first Foundation project intends to give combined scholarships of study and work to students, with ambition to reach an excellent curriculum, technical capability, good human willingness and innovative and creative spirit.

After a short stay in the company in Spain, students will do postgraduate studies (MSc, PhD or equivalent) in the one of Universities established in Spain, USA, UK, France, etc. The offered grants will reasonably cover their economical needs like university fees, taxes, housing and maintenance. Once finished this university education, the grant holder will work in SENER during period of one or two years, being covered his/her economical needs by the working contract with the company.

Once finished the university and SENER phases, the grant holders will be free of any obligation with the company.

The foreseen specializations are: gas and energy, transport, civil engineering, aeronautical and space engineering, mechanical, electronic and control engineering.
