Hi community friends!
Storefront Youth Emergency Shelter would like your help. Currently we have 14 beds open in our program. The outreach team has been going out to different locations and times around San Diego to get youth connected with our services, but we are still floating with 3-4 youth for the past two weeks.
Please spread the word in your programs about our need and if there are any youth or parents who are experiencing homeless, we can provide shelter and transitioning plans for longer term housing and life outcomes.
Eligibility:
· Youth who are ages 12 to 17
· Youth of all nationalities, gender identities, and sexual orientation
· Who are experiencing homelessness, abuse, neglect, are on the street, etc.
· Youth who have a unsafe living option in the meantime (couch surfing, living in cars, inconsistent living options, etc.)
· And most of all parental or guardian consent for services
