Monitoring your VoIP for troubleshooting and call quailty issues.
If you have made the transition to VoIP with asterisk, then you most
likely have had call issues that are more difficult to diagnose now
that it has become a network issue. Anything from improper signaling
over SIP messages, to packet latency/ packet loss affecting the audio
call quality can be the problems you can run into. This meeting we
will go over the process of monitoring your ethernet/IP network using
tools such as tcpdump, wireshark, and your asterisk pbx from its CLI
to see what is happening to your VoIP. Once the diganosis is made,
usually simple adjustments and changes that can be made to fix your
problems.
As usual, if you have a presentation, case study, or just general
trouble with a deployment you have, feel free to bring it to our
meeting.
