April '09 Meeting

Finally, we are going to have our meeting this month. We will be
hosting the meeting at a new location so be aware not to show up at
the Linda Vista Library.

Topic number one will cover L2/L3 CoS/QoS for VoIP. This will cover
multi-vendor handsets, switches, routers, and pbxs such as Asterisk.
One of the biggest hurdels od VoIP is quality of the phone calls, and
if you know the basics of QoS and how to empliment this, 90% of your
voice quailty should be covered. The other 10% would be on how you are
getting your voice service from the PSTN, and how to condition that.

Topic number two will cover what changes for SDTAUG we could be
planning on, and moving this group forward through 2009 and beyond.

As usual, if you have a presentation, case study, or just general
trouble with a deployment you have, feel free to bring it to our
meeting.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 21 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

Not really. The door to the suite is on the outside of the building.
We will have a sign out for SDTAUG meeting so you will be able to find
it easier.
