Part 2 of working with the Asterisk config files and dialplan.
Bring your laptops ready with VMware Player loaded because we will all
be configuring a pbx dialplan from scratch. We will be handing out the
ASTlinux VM image, along with an IAX2 and SIP soft phone as our
simulation tools. We will be covering much material from the great
resource "Asterisk - The Future of Telephone", along with a bit of
material that is not in the book. Everything from basics, macros,
devices, voicemail, CLI to log debugging will be discussed.
As usual, if you have a presentation, case study, or just general
trouble with a deployment you have, feel free to bring it to our
meeting.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 15th from 5pm to 8pm.
