Getting your network up to a conditioned level for VoIP, is a must
when deploying it for business applications, as well as for stable
home use. In this meeting we will cover the concepts of CoS and QoS,
as well as configuration examples of various hardware platforms from
closed and open source products. We will also show you some methods of
setting proper dscp values, so that if you have an ISP that can
provide you with QoS on their network, you can tag your traffic with
setting that they will prioritize.

As usual, if you have a presentation, case study, or just general
trouble with a deployment you have, feel free to bring it to our
meeting.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 19th from 5pm to
8pm.
