DOs and DON'Ts for virtualizing Asterisk. This has been a
controversial topic for some due to Asterisk needing an accurate
clocking source, which many virtualization platforms don't address.
The meeting will cover some of the different types of virtualization
technologies, Asterisk clocking sources, along with a virtualization
platform that has worked for me. I will also cover some of the
installation processes that I have used, and the resources that you
can get online to make this work.
As usual, if you have a presentation, case study, or just general
trouble with a deployment you have, feel free to bring it to our
meeting.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, November 17 from 5:30pm to
8:30pm.
