Hi everyone!

First of all congrats to those continuing as officers! Im excited to see what the next year will bring :)

I have attached a rough draft chart with prices from catering. I looked into O’s American Kitchen and Panera.
Personally I like O’s, I think its delicious and the prices seem a little more reasonable for the quantities we are getting.
If you guys have other ideas let me know and I can look into it.

I like the idea of catering especially since I haven’t heard anything about getting in touch with a restaurant to hold out event. But before we get too far along in the conversation, Haley, could you update us all on the reservation you put in for Montezuma hall as our banquet location? Along with the reservation, if someone from the banquet committee could start working on the logistics of the event as well as making sure we can have food in the hall, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,

I called Patsy at SLL. Food is definitely permitted, however, brining off-campus catering means you need to go on aztec shops catering website, download and fill out the food permit form (basically showing we are getting a lot more food from other people for the price, to justify why we aren't ordering through aztec shops catering), and we will then need a food permit. We need to decide and submit this form that includes an itemized list of all the food and the cost ASAP, as it should be 3 weeks in advance, but they will likely let it slide.

What about the same restaurant we went to last year? I didn't get to make it last year but I heard great things. I just think going to a restaurant is more appealing to members.

did anyone check out munchymovers.com? they will cater for us with a 10% off discount. Stephanie, do you know how we would go about getting a food permit? and do you know if there is any way that we can get the space request information sooner? I'm sure we will get a response this week, since I made it at our last meeting, so if not its not a big deal.

Munchymovers.com looks good. I do not see anything about their prices online though. Crap, we have less than 2 weeks for our banquet.

You can call SLL and check-in/follow-up with Patsy. 

For catering, you need to go to sdsu catering website and fill out the catering form with what we are bringing, the quantity, and the price.
