Hi guys,

I want to do a fundraiser with All the Perks Espresso Cafe on March 7th and April 11th (both are Fridays). I was wondering if you guys would be able to attend on these days either sometime during the day or the evening on the day of the fundraisers.

All the Perks will be helping us make the flyer and all we have to do is hand them out to our members and have them present it at the cafe. They did say that we would get 15% back from whatever we bring in. So this would be a great opportunity to hand out the flyers at our next meeting (if I can get them before then) and have the members possibly give a few to their friends also.

I would love your guys' input!

I can make both! What times are we doing it? It's really close to campus and they have the best coffee!!! Let's promote it as much as we can. :D We are also making this a point opportunity, right?

I haven't decided on times yet :(
 
What times are you guys available/would like this fundraiser to be? I was hoping to do early evening maybe around 5 or 6pm? Thoughts?

I believe that her coffee shop closes early like 7pm. I think since it's a Friday we can do like a 12pm- 5pm. We can just have members write their name on the flyer and I can get the names from Yenina for points.

This sounds good! I’m not sure if I can go both days, maybe stop by between school and my internship. But if its not hard, having members write their names is perfect.

So I have some good news and some bad news:
 
Good news - Yenina emailed me the fliers for both of the cafe fundraisers and they are attached to this email. Haley - if you could attach this to this week's email that would be great! Stephanie - can we have the fliers for March printed out for the next meeting to hand to members?
 
Bad news - Unfortunatly the dates for the fundraisers got mixed up. So instead of March 7th and April 11th, the dates on the flier are March 11th and April 7th. I'm okay with the dates but want to know how you guys feel about it?

Oh! I forgot to mention that Yenina also extended our hours for the fundraisers to the whole day instead of 12-530 so that members can stop by the cafe before school =)

They aren't but the dates on the fliers are okay with me. I just wanted to know if it mattered to any of you guys.

Totally my fault for over looking that! Sorry guys! If we could send out an email to all our members with the attached fliers that would be great! And send them to your friends as well so we can get more from the fundraiser =)

Just letting you guys know I'm going to post the other flyer for the fundraiser (which is tomorrow) on Facebook. Should I say that we're giving a point if they go? As Kristina said previously, we could have the members write their name on the flyer and ask Yenina for the names after.

Yes its this tuesday. See earlier email below, it says that there was a mix up with Apr 11th(Fri) to March 11th(Tues). Have we gotten a flyer out to the members or posted anything about this yet?

Yes, in one of my previous emails I mentioned that the dates were mixed up on the fliers and I asked the officers if there was an issue with it. But only 1 person responded.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you all know how much we brought in and made from the fundraiser! Here's what Yenina emailed me yesterday: "Your club spent a total of $75.10 before tax, raising a total of $11.36." Yay, us! We should definitely keep doing fundraisers with them (I'll mention it to whoever is the next treasurer).

Good work! Any money is positive in helping us get towards our goal. Is there any chance we could do another one with the Cafe this semester? I am just thinking because it is getting down to finals time that people will be up to hitting a cafe for brain food and coffee while studying. What do you all think?

Also Alecks, were you able to finalize any other on campus fundraisers this semester?

that's a good idea. Come finals week coffee sales will rise! We could even promote it a little more this time around (if we can do it again). Good job Alecks and company!
