Dear friends,

At the last meeting of the Coalition to Stop the MPS Takeover we voted
to:

Picket Senator Lena Taylor's house at 1518 W. Capitol Drive this
Saturday, November 14, from 1 PM to 2 PM.

We invite all coalition members and supporters to bring their friends,
colleagues, and family. We encourage you to bring picket signs.

If you have ideas for chants please email Jennifer Morales at
clea...@cleancopy.biz
She will compile people's ideas and bring a chant sheet to distribute
to people at the picket line.

Bring your singing voice because we plan to sing "We Shall Overcome."

It is important that we be respectful of Sen. Taylor and her
neighbors. We are focusing on only one issue:

Her support of the mayoral takeover of MPS.

Our coalition of 28 community, parent, educator, union, religious,
civil rights, and student organizations have united around three
principles:

* Oppose the mayoral takeover
* Protect and defend voter rights
* Invest in parent and community involvement in our schools.

Senator Taylor needs to know that her support of the mayoral takeover
is opposed by many of her constituents and other people in Milwaukee.
Please join us this Saturday.
