spam attacks

Hey folks,

I'm a member of many google group lists, and have created a hand-full
of them.

The ones I created, and apparently ONLY the ones I've created, came
under attack yesterday from porn spammers. It's the same messages form
the same users, which I've been reporting and removing, and banning
the users. Most of the lists I've created are local to my area for
things like FNB, CM, EF!, etc., but this is the one national list I
created that has also been targeted for attack. This is internet
warfare, and we can be pretty sure it's politically motivated. With
the fascist Rightwing backlash taking place in the country right now,
the internet is also a battlefield.

Anyways, I just wanted to apologize to you all for the porn spam and
let you know that I'm doing my best to keep up with it. Sorry for the
inconvenience.
