SOFware is a small San Diego company serving the US Special Operations Forces (hence our name) and Law Enforcement communities. One of our newest customers is the SEAL community, headquartered in Coronado, which is about to begin using our FORGE software to assess and develop every SEAL on everything from maturity and integrity to marksmanship and skydiving, throughout their entire career.

We have an immediate need for both W2 and 1099 help (US citizens only, due to the nature of the work).

W2:
  • Very strong Rails dev with Docker and DevOps skills. React expertise a plus.
  • Generally remote, with occasional visits to SEAL HQ in Coronado. We have an office in Carlsbad where you're welcome to work as well.
  • Must have: strong linux and hardware skills, know how to set up and troubleshoot OS, web servers, ability to dig into logs and otherwise ensure a new system is up and running.
  • Competitive salary, 401k, healthcare, be-an-adult vacation policy.
1099:
  • Very strong Rails dev with Docker and DevOps skills.
  • Must have: strong linux and hardware skills, know how to set up and troubleshoot OS, web servers, ability to dig into logs and otherwise ensure a new system is up and running.
  • Longer term relationships with us are possible.
  • Remote generally, with occasional visits to SEAL HQ in Coronado.
In both cases we're looking for very solid candidates who can hit the ground running, and who will be inspired by the opportunity to help the special operations and law enforcement communities develop better operators and better human beings.

If you're interested please DM me.

Thanks,
John
