Hi all,

I'm trying to listen and stream my local p25 system but it's not working!!! I've been able to do it before so I really have no idea what happened. My Alias list is setup, I've tested output tones and can hear those but I can't hear any calls nor are they being uploaded. Any insight into why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not certain what's causing your issue, but one thing worth double-checking is whether the JMBE audio decoder is properly built. Without it, you won't hear any decoded voice from P25 Phase 1 or 2 systems.

In SDRTrunk, go to View → User Preferences → Decoder → JMBE Audio Library. If it hasn't been built yet, you'll need to initiate the build process there—SDRTrunk will handle it automatically once triggered. Until that's done, audio decoding won't work, even if the alias list and tone testing are fine.

Let us know if that helps or if you've already built the decoder and the issue persists.

San Francisco Police talk groups are mostly encrypted; a few are part-time encrypted.

If they are encrypted, they will show in the "Event" column that they are encrypted. Thankfully,  it is used sparingly here and I had to scroll back quite a ways to demonstrate how it shows up on the screen. In the example originally shown, it was "Group Call" with no audio as opposed to "Encrypted Group Call".

The op's gains are set pretty high based on the appearance of the waterfall display.

Hey everyone thanks for your help.

JMBE library is setup. I have the gain on automatic for both SDR's. I'm wondering if maybe I'm missing some java package or something for the JMBE library because I can hear NOAA channels and when I go plug those same SDRs into a different computer everything works fine.

In addition to the gain being too high, the CPU usage indicator looks like its maxed out.  What are the PC specs?
