Duplicate calls

I know options in SDRT for duplicate calls. But it does not work for these two broadcasts in my area that I have to use now due to sheriffs going encrypted.

The sheriff's office simulcasts the same calls sometimes to the sheriffs and the state police. A duplicate is always broadcast is always heard when that happens. So, the calls keep repeating.

So in this screenshot. You can see the second to last call for MSP U Pr Fred in Cyan.
That call is simulcast right above it to Calvert SO
My listeners hear the same calls back to back. I'm getting a lot of reports.

How can I fix this? I have tried all the duplicate options in SDRT

Have you tried setting the same 'System' value in each of the channel configurations?  The duplicate call detector looks for calls that are tagged from the same system where the talkgroup value is the same and the call timing is close.

Not sure if my last reply was posted. I said it was fix.
I was wrong. Still getting dupes.

The dupes come from talkgroup 7360 and 7437.
Can I rename 7437 to 7360 to eliminate the dupes?

Error, can't have 2 same TG's. I give up.

SDRT cannot know what the content of any call is. It can only look at the system, the from, and the to. If they're patching things without sending it out indicated as such it isn't a duplicate call in that sense and there's no good way around that. As far as it knows they are 2 separate calls. Perhaps blocking certain radio IDs? Or detect dupes by Radio ID? That can get weird sometimes.

It worked perfect when I had one system for the county in SDRT. They sometimes broadcast to the sheriff and state police simultaneously. SDRT filtered the dupes so only one was heard.

Then, the sheriffs and state police on that county system went full encryption 9 days ago. EMS and fire were not.

So I added MD FIRST system which has the SP unencrypted. Still have the county system for fire and EMS.

On that FIRST broadcast the county sometimes broadcasts to the SP and sheriff cars simultaneously. Those are duplicated and listeners hear the same call twice.
They can hear the responding SP cars as but not the sheriff cars. That is expected. Plus listeners can not hear any sheriff call that are not broadcast simultaneously. Thats normal too.

Tthe alpha tags for SP only work on Broadcastify. Not Broadcastify calls or OpenMhz.

Just can't figure out why this is happening. I have a spare PC that I use to test different things.

It's all fun. I not worried or complaining :D

I would choose to stream either the MSP Prince Frederick Barrack tg or the Calvert SO tg,  but not both if you want to eliminate duplicated audio transmissions.  What your users are hearing are not duplicate calls, at least how that term is defined by SDR Trunk.  These are two discrete tgs that sometimes carry the same voice traffic AFAIK from your description of the issue.

I do turn off the MSP sometimes when it is busy.
