tuner sample rate behavior on Linux vs Windows

I have two identical PCs, both are Dell Optiplex 7010's (possibly 8010's). One runs Windows 10, other Runs MXLinux. I noticed that WIN10 cant run an RTL-SDR at 2.4MHz in a stable manner, but works great at 1.92MHz. On the Linux machine, its the exact opposite... Linux runs the RTL-SDRs at 2.4MHz with no problem at all, but struggles with 1.92MHz. I did adjust PPM after each sample rate change and it didnt help. Symptoms are Idle CC and CRC failures.

Sounds like you may need to adjust the Gain in Windows
