Rtl-sdr v4 compatibility

Will it work with sdrtrunk?

I just received my v4 and it does not work with SDR-Trunk.  Not sure if I am missing something..

did you replace the drivers as it says in the rtl_sdr blog?

Unfortunately, I am running this on a MAC where the instructions are :

Unfortunately MacOS will most likely require that software providers update their package files themselves as packages come with standard drivers prepackaged. SDR++ and SDRAngel are now compatible. We are still awaiting new releases from GQRX, and CubicSDR.

I have not yet tried it on my Windows PC but I will give that a go soon.

Any updates yet? Have you gotten the v4 to work on your setup or on a windows setup?

I have not gotten it to work with SDRTrunk on the MAC.  I haven't had time to try on Windows.

I DO have it working with SDR# on Windows 11 and GQRX on the MAC.

Just build the rtl-sdr package from Github.  The instructions are clear and easy to follow.  It works perfectly.   Eventually, someone will come along and build it in package format, but until then, V4 "drivers" are available on Github for a DIY build.
