Hello all,

First off, let me say thank you for making and upkeeping this software, my local county just switched over to P25 and your software has made it very easy to complete the switch.

I unfortunately don't know a lot about the workings of p25 so I was hoping someone might be able to give me a hand. I have SDR trunk up and running and it is working fine, with one weird thing. I originally had two dongles hooked up, one locked on the control channel and another rolling for the decoding. I noticed however, that the second dongle keeps getting locked on a transmission which limits the frequency and I start getting a lot of calls being dropped because the tuner is unavailable. If you look at the sdrtrunk.png, you see the control channel and the one underneath it, a p25-1 decoder when the network is a P25-2. When you click on it, it shows events for Motorola ARS and sends UDP/IP packets. Does anybody know what this is? Is there a way to lock it out so I can get the tuner back?

I added a third dongle, and I no longer see the tuner unavailable items in the event log and everything is working great, but I was hoping to use that dongle for a different purpose.

Thanks for any insight and keep up the good work!

Mike

PS: Also is there any documentation on event logging? I currently stream everything to a website and I want to display on the site the now playing information, I turned on event logging, but the outputs and files didn't make a lot of sense to me.

In your Playlist Editor for that channel, there is an option that says "Ignore Data Calls" -- make sure that is enabled and it will stop locking onto that.

Thank you!!

That was it, its working better now with just 2 dongles.

Thanks again,

Mike
