Hi y'all, I am scanning a trunked P25p2 system that has LRRP packets being sent over the network. I saw there was a map feature built into SDRTrunk but it seems as its not working as intended. I'd really like to see some GPS data or see how these IP packets can be used to track cruisers or something. Below there is a SS of my system.

Expand the 'Details' column and see if there are position information (Latitude & Longitude values).  If you see lat & long, it should be plotting to the map.

Sometimes on P25 networks, the network doesn't repeat the GPS position reports from the mobile and you won't get anything plotted on the map.  In that case you'll need to monitor the uplink frequency.  However, sdrtrunk doesn't support decoding the APCO25 Phase 2 uplink (mobile to tower) since it uses a different modulation scheme than what's used on the downlink side.

I took a look at the details tab when one of those data calls went through and I didn't see any Latitude & Longitude coordinates. This system uses p2 voice so I guess I'm out of luck anyways... Thanks for letting me know about how this data is sent though!
