Firstly thank you to all involved in developing SDRtrunk and the other programmes that exist for everyone (me) to use and enjoy.

Been using SDRtrunk for awhile now and it works like a dream.. and running the latest without any issues.

But ... I wonder how folk measure signal strength ?  I want to reposition my antennas so signal strength measurement is important.

I dont think there is a way within SDRTrunk so how are folk doing it ?

Many thanks in advance

sdrtrunk is not really setup for measuring signal strength.  You might consider one of the other sdr applications for what you're trying to do.

Maybe someone else here on the list can recommend one that has good signal strength measuring capabilities?

cheers,

Alternatively, you could watch the intensity of signals in the waterfall and/or the heights of the spikes.

I am on the beta2, monitoring two different Phase 2 sites, when I select a site in the "Now Playing" then click on the "Channel Tab" it displays a relative Porer (dB) which is awesome and I use it to align my 800mhz Yagi.
