This is running great on a GMKtec G3 Plus with an Intel N150 chip / 16g ram / 512 ssd. No hiccups what so ever!

Nice!
So no need for any modern I3/I5 CPU?
How many dongles are you using at once? Are you using something with a wide-spectrum coverage such as Airspy Mini?

My Beelink mini has been running 1.5 years 24/7. N100 CPU. 16gig DDR5. 2 dongles. Plenty of power.  So much better than a Pi.

Myself... I'm running four Noolec dongles into a USB hub then have that hub plugged into the Mini. My main use is listening to county wide police/sheriff. The sheriff's office and seven municipalities are all on one system. I really only need two dongles but I just leave all four plugged in.

Interesting.
Thank you for your responses.
I guess this kind of setup can accommodate a few dongles that are not wide-band.
