Is it possible to monitor a conventional DMR single frequency system that does not use a control channel? I’m using version 0.6.0 beta 5.

Do you mean a simple DMR repeater with 2 slots?
It works fine if the signal is strong.
You create a new Channel in the Channels window: DMR protocol.
Give it a System, Site, Name, Alias List, enter the frequency and Save.
You should enter the TGs in the Aliases window.

I won't speak to what OP meant, but I was referring to simplex DMR. No repeater in this case.

I have no experience with that.
Perhaps SDRTrunk doesn't handle that (yet).

This is the DMR site thst I’m trying to monitor.  Do I need to enter the “Tone” info into SDRTRUNK? I already have the single TG setup.

Is it a repeater?
In the Playlist Editor screen:
Did you create that frequency as DMR in the Channels tab?
Did you press Save and Play?

In the Now Playing screen:
Do you see that it changes from Idle to Active when there is activity on the channel?
The "Tone" is irrelevant to DMR. The only thing you need is the TG (if you want it to be identified as an Alias).

Can you monitor that frequency to see if it is a valid one, via a scanner or DSDPlus Faslane / DSD FME?
