I'm trying to get set up to listen to my local police frequencies, my setup is three nesdr smart dongles, all connected via a usb hub. I have my antenna a mag-mount outside on my fire pit. I keep seeing channels go active but cant hear anything. I have compiled the  JMBE library. I can tune to the weather channel and hear it fine. But when tuned to the trunked police frequencies It gives this error in the messages tab:

 APCO-25 0 NAC:4095 TDULC ***LINK CONTROL CRC FAIL*** RESERVED-3F ENCRYPTED UNKNOWN/UNRECOGNIZED OPCODE MSG:FFFFD555755555557D

Unable to find anything on google.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Ryan

What system are you trying to monitor?

Post a link to the system with the trunked freqs and post screenshots of your Now Playing window with the Events tab depressed.  Like this

In your screen shot it appears you have the mute on. The speaker is red with a line through it.

Yes, my mute is on. I am not the OP, who started the thread, and has no audio in his setup.

Sorry for the delayed response, been a busy week. I'm at work now, will get a screenshot tonight or tomorrow. I am wondering if I set up the playlist incorrectly as looking at your screen shot mine does not show any channels as "Control" I imported them from RadioReference
System ID:

7202 (North)

Thank you!

That looks like a mess. What system is this supposed to be?

Looking at the screenshot where you're seeing that message, it looks like a bad decode.  You're getting mostly SYNC LOSS which means the decoder is not decoding the signal and where you are getting messages, like the example that you posted, the messages all have errors meaning.  Anytime you see 'CRC FAIL', that means the message has errors and you should ignore those messages.

I don't see the signal in the waterfall for the channel that you selected to show messages ... I'd guess that you have either a poor quality signal or a tuner that needs PPM adjustment,  producing the messages in your screenshot.

It looks like you're programming all of the individual channels for a trunked system ... normally you just setup one channel for the control channel frequency and sdrtrunk will automatically create the additionall traffic channels.  By decoding the control channel, the monitored system will tell sdrtrunk when it has calls on the other channel frequencies and sdrtrunk does that work for you.
