PPM Adjustment

Once you manually adjust your PPM should you uncheck the auto PPM, or leave it checked on? This question is for monitoring a P25 LSM trunked system using 0.6.1 Final.

I cannot vouch for this being the correct procedure, but I uncheck the auto PPM box and adjust the ppm manually to the best value I can get (almost always 0.0).  After the sdr warms up / stabilizes, I make any final adjustment if necessary, then check the auto ppm box.  Theoretically this allows the software to make any fine adjustments if they become necessary.

I would think you would want to leave it on. Your error will drift a little back and forth throughout the day and seasons as the temperature increases and decrease.
