Trunking Recorder 3.1 Beta

I have created a new BETA Trunking Recorder 3.1.4404 release.

Trunking Recorder is a Windows application that can import recorded Calls from SDRTrunk. It provides a full web interface for real-time audio playback and searching by talkgroup, radio user, system, site, type, and date. It also provides the ability to send email notifications, stream the calls, allows custom file/folder names and structure, old call purging, etc.

I have also created a Trunking Recorder Google group at https://groups.google.com/g/trunking-recorder/

This group will be used to discuss Trunking Recorder issues, features, beta releases, and other Trunking Recorder information that is useful without flooding the SDRTrunk group.

If you have any issues with the BETA please post in the Trunking Recorder group.

This release includes the following new changes

1. It allows Calls to be uploaded into Trunking Recorder from other Trunking Recorder machines. This would be useful if you have multiple distributed Trunking Recorder systems and want to feed them back into one master Trunking Recorder install. 2. It adds initial support for Call Speech-to-Text transcription for Call Notification emails. This feature requires a Microsoft Azure Speech subscription. Currently it's only implemented for calls that generate a Notification email. Before the email is sent it will send the call to the Azure cloud speech service and get a text transcription of the call. It then includes the call text in the email. Azure offers 5 hours of Speech-to-text per month on a free Subscription so that should allow for a start. Quality of the text transcription can very greatly depending on the quality of the audio and how clear the user talks. The service allows you to submit keyword phrases with the call audio so you can add common emergency services keyword phrases in Trunking Recorder, it seems to improve the accuracy. Even when the transcription is inaccurate you can still kind of figure out what was said.
