Hi,
I am using sdrtrunk to monitor the NSW PSN. SDRtrunk works perfectly then it stops receiving randomly, sometimes minutes or hours after running. The control channel is still decoding, I can see messages and events, just no talkgroups. The RF looks good. This is happening on several different Raspberry Pi 5's and RTLSDR dongles. The problem occurs on Simulcast and conventional trunking. When the software is restarted it works for a period of time, then stops.

I have tried...
Reboots
Different locations.
Different sites to receive
Different Pi's
Different builds
Different RTLSDR's
Re-installling
Re-creating the channels

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Scott

You should try running it on more powerful hardware.  Also make sure that you are running the most recent final version; I think its V 0.6.1 Final.

What does the sdrtrunk_app.log say?  What errors is it listing?

Thank you for your suggestions.

The log is giving a clue.
When sdrtrunk stops Rx the log records 'unable to source channel [413.187500] from preferred tuners [RTL....
I have tried a second tuner.
Stopping and starting a channel fixes everything... for a few minutes.

The RPi is just crusing along CPU 50%, allocated memory 30%, used memory 50%-60%
