Just checked the weather for this weekend's PCH Randonneurs Pier Review 200K that Greg and I will be hosting, and it looks fantastic! The weather is predicted to be sunny, with mild winds, and not too terribly cold.

Fingers-crossed that the weather is this nice for the C'est Parti 300K in February!

Hey everyone!

As you plan your 2023 PBP qualifying ACP brevets, you might like the rides that Greg and I will be hosting in SoCal with our PCH Randonneurs club!

Both the 200k and 300k rides will begin and end at the Balboa Pier in Newport Beach, California.

Both are both fairly flat routes and mostly on scenic bike trails.

Both routes usually have moderate headwinds for 50% of the ride which is great practice for PBP.

This is a quiet time of year in Balboa for both events. There is plenty of room at the Balboa Inn at the Balboa Pier or local vacation rentals if you want to make a mini-vacation for the weekend!

Sign up here:
Pier Review 200K - half of the route is along the coast past 5 piers with a view of the Queen Mary
C'est Parti 300K - mostly river trails with 40 miles along the coast
