SUMMARY
We currently have a full-time opening for a Senior Oracle Apps Developer at our Carlsbad, California headquarters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create custom pl/sql packages for conversions and interfaces.
* Develops all reporting requirements based on user requirements, which are gathered by the reporting requirements form and signed off by the user community.
* Ability to use Oracle approved methods of customizing the Oracle R12 e-Business Suite.
* Teams with Oracle Support to resolve issues
* Assists DBA team in functional modules for major upgrade
* Provides configuration management support to staff for development software
* Reports application development activities through designated mechanisms
* Supports and develops enhancements to the Oracle EBS, while sharing knowledge internally with the IT department and the user community.
* Evaluates business requirements for enterprise business applications integration and service activation while delivering new or modified software systems enhancements and/or integration solutions.
* Consults with business staff to develop understanding of the varied and complex business needs supported by the system. Responsible for determining how changing business needs will affect the system.
* Reviews and approves requested system changes and develops detailed specifications for implementation. Communicates system changes and issues at all levels.
* Ensures current and accurate system documentation, coordinates and or performs testing of system modifications, and develops, provides, or coordinates system training, educational tools and materials.
* Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
* Act as project lead when needed.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of Information Systems, accounting or related experience.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
* This position requires at least five years of experience with Oracle Applications.
* Experience in pricing and configuration management is a plus.
* Strong computerized accounting skills and advanced spreadsheet skills required.
* Prior experience in a leadership role preferred.
* Experience with Oracle Developer Suite 10g, Workflow Builder, BI Publisher, and RDBMS 11g is required.
* Experience with Java, JDeveloper, OAF, and Cognos is highly preferred.
